Credits Awarded for CLEP Test
The College-Level Examination Program® provides students of any age with the opportunity to demonstrate college-level achievement through a program of exams in undergraduate college courses. CLEP consists of a series of examinations that test an individual’s college level knowledge gained through course work, independent study, cultural pursuits, travel, special interests, military service schools, and professional development.

You may be able to earn NJIT credits for NJIT courses if you take and successfully pass a CLEP test. To be eligible for a CLEP test you must get approval from the academic department that governs the course. The WEU office will help you locate the correct advisor.
