NJIT 12-credit Graduate Certificates programs work for lifelong learners who either are looking for a stand-alone credential or Master degrees at NJIT or elsewhere. When a Graduate Certificate holder decides to continue studying at NJIT towards the corresponding Masters degree, the student will enjoy the additional benefits of rapid matriculated acceptance, exemption from the normal requirement of providing a GRE score⁽¹⁾, and eventual acquisition of two credentials essentially for the price of one.

Undergraduate Certificates

The 24-credit Undergraduate Certificate is the first credential earned through Weekend University.  Presently four such credentials are available:

• Essentials of Business Application Design (B.S. I.S.)
• Essentials of Information Security (B.S. I.T.)
• Essentials of Information Systems Management (B.S. I.T.)
• Essentials of Web Application Development (B.S. I.S.)

 This flexible weekend college program makes it convenient for working adults to study toward this certificate.   This certificate is a strong stand-alone credential, but better yet can be your jump start toward completing the full NJIT undergraduate degree.  In the end, working adults earn two credentials for the price of one. 

Customized Graduate and Undergraduate Certificates can also be designed for clients whose workforces require specialized learning experiences.
