EmployME! Donation Fund
The EmployME! program, launched by NJIT and with the support of the Henry H. Kessler Foundation, is dedicated to preparing unemployed, underemployed and under-served populations for both entry level and advanced jobs in the field of information technology.
With three (3) career training options: Web Technology, Unix Systems Administration, or Office Generalist, the EmployME! program has succeeded with a 62% placement rate in jobs, internships, or further education for the first session graduates. The curriculum includes professional development, office communication skills, career development, career development, "job club" structured activities, office productivity and a concentration in one of the three career tracks.
During the eighteen week full-time training program, students learn online and in a state-of-the-art computer lab especially equipped with appropriate assistive technology tools. Throughout the program, all participants are prepared for career and job placement, and they are provided the tools for success in the workplace.
