WebMASTER: Web Developer

The Web Developer course builds on the basic web development fundamentals and focuses on the design and content development of hypertext apps and web pages. The HTML5 standard, scripting languages; database driven app and WebApp content all use web development tools and are covered in this course. Students will be able to apply learned human interface guidelines to design a web page using the PHP programming/scripting language, and SQL databases like MySQL and PostgresQL.

Course Information

Second in the three-part WebMASTER Certificate series, Web Developer provides students with hands-on experience in building a database interconnected website or web app using the skills learned incrementally in this course.  Upon completion students will have a fully functioning website or web app and be able to host the site or app on an NJIT server.
